Pilates is a form of a Fitness program that many people don’t have exposure to or that don’t realize that it addresses the necessary functional movements of daily life . I enjoy teaching clients about stabilization, control, flow, concentration, breathing, coordination and full range of movement . Pilates is a wonderful complement to other forms of exercise fitness clients may be enjoying. Pilates improves muscular strength, endurance, flexibility and joint mobility. It reduces stress and fatigue, increases energy and stamina. I enjoy teaching Pilates because I truly believe in its value to the lives of people.
Fun fact: each year I set a fitness goal… speed, endurance , strength , muscle development..one or two..I consider this goal setting and the journey apart from my self care.
